The British Business Awards Honouring British Business Success
Britain is a byword for business excellence; and the longstanding British reputation for worldclass production, innovation and a plethora of market leaders across the full spectrum of industries continues to be recognised in China. Organised by the British Chambers of Commerce in China, the British Business Awards recognise and promote excellence in innovation, enterprise and endeavour in both the British and Chinese business communities. The biennial awards have become an increasingly prestigious feature of the business calendar, and this year will consist of nine categories. These will showcase a number of organisations and individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to trade and investment in China. The Gala Dinner, at which the awards are presented, will be on 21st November 2024.
A Mark of Unity
In 2024, the British Business Awards launched a new brand identity inspired by the auspicious Chinese Knot (jié结), a symbol of friendship and a fruitful, long-lasting relationship that represents the trade relations between the UK and China. The new logo serves as a Mark of Unity (tuán jié团结) and features the energetic and everchanging colours of the Aurora Borealis.
This year, the Awards are supported by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the British Council, China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), Scottish Development International, Invest Northern Ireland, and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the UK.
