THE BRITISH BUSINESS AWARDS – HONOURING BRITISH SUCCESS IN CHINA

Organised by the British Chambers of Commerce in China, the British Business Awards recognises and promotes excellence in innovation, enterprise and endeavour in the British and Chinese business communities. The biennial awards have grown to become a prestigious feature of the business calendar, with 9 award categories this year. The awards showcase a number of organisations and individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to trade and investment in China. This year, the Gala Dinner, at which the awards are presented, will be on 22 September 2022.

The awards this year are organised by the British Chambers of Commerce in China, Shanghai, Guangdong and Southwest, and supported by the Department for International Trade (DIT), Confederation of British Industry (CBI), China Chamber of Commerce in the UK, Scottish Development International and Invest Northern Ireland.

This year, the UK and China celebrate 50 years of full diplomatic relations, following an exchange of ambassadors in March 1972. The British Chamber of Commerce in China is immensely proud of the role we have played during China’s period of reform and opening. Since 1981 we have stood to serve our members and foster productive and mutually beneficial business relations between the UK and China. We look forward to the next fifty years and will continue to advocate for free and open markets, dialogue and understanding for shared benefits.
