  • General requirements. Awards are open to any company or organisation operating in China that the general public and/or business community would perceive as being “British”.
  • Outstanding Contribution to the UK Award. Open to Chinese companies headquartered in China with a presence in the UK.
  • Education Partnership Award. Open to higher or further education institutions listed on the UKVI Register of Licensed Sponsors (Tier 4). Nominations must be endorsed by a Vice-Chancellor or College.
  • Chinese UK Alumnus Award. Open to Chinese nationals up to the age of 35 (inclusive) who have graduated at least two years prior to the 2024 opening of entry applications.
  • Business Partnership Award. Open to any organisation which is, or has previously been, a partnership/joint venture/merger where one of the parties is/was British.
  • Inspiring Leadership Award. Open to the leader of a UK business or a British passport holder working in either a Chinese or foreign company. The applicant must have held a leadership role in their business or organisation for at least two years.

No, there is no application fee.

The British Business Awards accept online entries only. Click the “Enter the Awards” button on the BBA website (https://britishbusinessawards.org), register an account, fill in your profile and select the category you wish to enter and complete the online application form. You can save and re-edit the application until you are satisfied and ready to submit. Once submitted, the application cannot be altered.

The closing date for submissions is 26 September 2024.

Unfortunately, there can only be one application per organisation, per category.

Yes, you can enter as many award categories as you like.

Yes. There is no limitation on the number of years in which an organisation is entered for an award.

An organisation or individual may not enter for an award which their organisation is sponsoring.
